Let's hope their optimism proves to be justified, but as time goes on it looks more as though The Mighty Midget's pessimism will be shown to be right. If we lose against Boro on Saturday we are as good as relegated. We needed good luck with injuries, didn't get it. We needed sympathy from the Club we got our best loanee from. Didn't get it. Basically, we were relying on fate and charity. Didn't get any. Dropping back into the 3rd tier doesn't bother me too much now. It's our new home. The glory days are well and truly over.
