That's a more concise version of what I was saying You are European Champions, World Champions, and are about to be League Champions for the first time in 3 decades, and you are whining like little bitches because you got knocked out of the FA Cup! Come on guys, get a little perspective
I have two mates who are Chelsea fans who I watched the game with - they said after 15mins “Great we’ve got a homer,” and I concur Nothing more nothing less it happens The Mane one was outrageous though lol The one that got me was Pedro committing about 5 fouls in 7 secs then he got clobbered and foul was given All that said the ref wasnt the reason we lost Chelsea played really well and they wanted it more The chance where we had three shots and hit them all at Kepa (second shot was a good dave Tbf) convinced me ‘twas not to be Anyways let’s get this title wrapped up before the wheels come off
The leagues already won. Nope. Im moaning because we're in as good a position as anyone will ever be to go for a treble (bar being 1-0 down in CL) and we just didn't want it.
^^^ This we had a good chance of progressing but we didn't step up and got what we deserved . The loss of form is certainly worrying though.
Hope we beat Bournemouth by a decent margin. A poor result and then Madrid it not something that will make the Madrid game an easy watch. I think we will be knocked out by Madrid as we don't seem to have the energy we had before the winter break
I didnt say our team was all youngsters, I just said it would be nice for the youngsters in the team to win something. People like Mount, Gilmour, Abraham, James etc.
I think we've been poor since the first Wolves game, but (apart from Uniturd when we should have won by more) we've been squeaking through. But yeah, since Athetico and the break (and Virgil's drop in form, it has to be said), we've been middle-of-the-table fayre. I can't see us getting past a tough, resilient, organised Atletico. They'll score at least one on the break, possibly two, and there's no way on God's green earth that front three in this form (and that totally dire midfield) are going to get three or four. And yes, I know everyone will point to Barca last season, but it is easily forgotten just how much the 3-0 loss in the away leg flattered them: this time around, we got what we deserved in Spain.
It's always nice for youngsters to win something but when only one played in a team that got you to a quarter final any medals given out will be off the back of the seniors. Unlike our actual youngsters who got us to last night's game
Thats just one game mate. Gilmour started, Mount came on 40 minutes in and James came on as sub too, and Abraham was injured
I know. Just as an aside, we've been playing a full team of 16, 17 and 18 year olds in the cups, so a couple of 21 and 22 year olds doesn't sound so young
