    Fearless Freddie Williams allowed JP McManus £100 grand at a stand out 13/8 on his mare Like a Butterfly in the very first race of the 2002 Cheltenham festival. Didn’t turn a hair when forced to cough up and empty his satchels, but rumour has it his that for years after, Freddie’s arsehole twitched every time the irishman walked in the ring after that. Never refused him a bet though..
