The man changes his mind about what he wants more times than chelsea change their managers. Anyway im not here to debate brexit, just thought what he said at grenfell was blown out of proportion
Not that long ago he’d have been a bit of a jokey pisstake of what a Tory MP used to be. Like something out of a sketch show where a guy in a castle with six kids with names like Sextus comes up with dastardly plans to crash the pound for profit. Somehow that’s become “anti-establishment”.
Yup he may have been anti establishment (against the eu) but to think people think hes hes man of the people . He's doing it for britain - after moving some of his interests outside of the uk into ireland.
I mentioned the B word in response to your post. Your answer was a bit throw away...'The man changes his mind'. JRM was just a back bencher...pretty much unknown until Brexit and ERG. All he did during those 2-3 years was to say that we needed to respect the result. I think people didn't like the fact that he is a toff and well educated. He actually is a decent family man with an amazing understanding of the HOC.
People don’t like that he advised (lied to) people to vote against their economic interests while making an absolute killing from the pound crashing. And his wife’s castle being renovated at our expense. And excusing himself for being an enormous bigot by pretending to be religious. And maybe the Grenfell thing.
That money thing was a bit of a myth... they said Farage did the same. All of his work and money interests are either regulated or documented. He did nothing illegal. It was just the remain mob trying to discredit him. If you are talking about Wentworth Woodhouse... that had nothing to do with him. I think that people are against him because of Brexit.
I didn’t say it was illegal. Legally lying to people for your own economic gain isn’t a great look though. Of course people are against him because of Brexit amongst other things. Your lot are in the process of hounding out anyone who dare not blindly back the cult so it’s a bit crass to even mention it.
