I've been out all evening and can't be arsed reading back.
We were crap. I bet Lovren is getting all the blame but anyone who thinks it was all down to him is kidding themselves.
The whole team was poor.
Anyway, we had to lose sometime and this was that time. I'd be more concerned if we'd played well and lost - at least we know that we can do a lot better than that. For a while now we've looked like we were just doing enough to win, and when it wasn't enough then we didn't know how to respond.
Two defeats in as many weeks will hopefully snap us out of that complacency.

Congratulations to Watford, who saw the chinks and exploited them fully.

If you want to defend him out of sentiment because he’s a Liverpool player, then fair enough. But do not defend him thinking he’s a good player.

Matip is levels above him and he proved that last season when he filled in for Joe Gomez.
