    about a 1/4 I would say are not english ( english includes people of all races ). I am basing this on the number of battalions that are not english ( 10 out of 37 ).

    You then have to factor in the bit about every single weapon, armour, vehicle and literally everything to do with the army belongs to the UK and if it was broken up it would belong to England. We have a ready made military complete with equipment and bases. Bases in scotland would still be ours and any attempts by the scottish to capture them would be an act of war.

    Breaking up the UK would be incredibly complicated, incredibly expensive and take decades to fully resolve. What politician representing the whole of the UK would want to represent that?

    Always wondered, out of interest, if Scotland voted for independence, what would happen to Northern Ireland? The Ulster Scots.
