Yeh its a problem tbh.

Im thinking about when @luvgonzo done his thing and we had a few newbs join, huggybear and a few others, they was hounded by the "old skoolers" on here til they eventually got banned due to imho the old guard being cliquey towards newbs, thats just the last time i remember but theres been loads over the years whove met the same fate & For the same reasons.

Anyone new is immediately under scrutiny, of course we all protect the site in our own way but sometimes it goes on for too long and people feel unwelcome.

I understand them accounts getting deleted...u know...those that come n chat bowt Bit coin n ****

Huggy and his mates were ok.

I think the problem we are having is...we all need fresh meat. We all know each other too well...it’s like when a team goes stale...results go stale...get me fam

The Premier League section that we are in, is not obvious to any new accounts. The first thing you see is the Premier League banner, when you click on it, the second thing you see is the club boards. It's not until/unless you scroll down you then see this section. So the remote chance of someone finding this area is pretty unlikely unless you are a sock. You are correct though, the people that tend to come here are those banned from their club boards.

It's also worth remembering it was the newbies that were pissing of the likes of Comm, especially on the Sunderland board, when a couple of hundred moved over from RG or whatever it's called. Their mod even tried to ban Joe, until i said fook off. So newbies are not always a good thing, also it creates extra work, because then they want to try it on in the GC section.

I generally know where all the newbies head, and it isn't the Prem board, maybe due to over moderation by certain board mods in the past, those that think it's ok to take the piss on here, but rule with an iron rod on their own board, hence you then only have the mods left modding themselves!

Huggy and that minkey fell seemed fine, took weeks of **** and still rolled with it fine, then if i remeber rightly comm got involved and chased both round the forum calling sock every post and banned they were.

Not having a pop at you..trying to solve a problem...or what I perceive to be a problem for this site at times

let’s not forget this is a chat forum...I know it was made for all the ****ers initially...like their playground. That’s done now...it’s evolved.

I read other forums...just follow the Spurs...so you get Ja606 which is multi team and you get say Spurscommunity which is single team forum. Both however seem to be thriving...you get different posters. Of course like any place the old timers are always there but newbies do join.

I just don’t think we see it here often enough considering this is a chat forum bru

Think we need recruitment drive soon

You could always stay on the Spurs board, and evolve that area or the Arsenal board, give them mods the work to do <ok>

You have two Arsenal mods on here Piskie & G4E....why they here, because they ain't got no Arsenal fans left to mod.

Same you had PNP here, until I moved his shhite to the Spurs board and then he started deleting threads.

Then you have the Liverpool board, I don't really need to say anymore about that sensitive bunch.
