It would just cost more money for much the same outcome.

I wonder if a relegation will start to hit the Allams in the pockets?
 
Not sure I've ever seen a more inept performance from City (Toral excepted). No energy, no plan, no idea. Is it McCann or the players or both? Who knows, it's just absolute garbage, we're like rabbits in headlights when we're defending, like strangers in a strange land when we find ourselves in their half.

Hard to know what to do to change it but I'd definitely hook Irvine, he cannot do a thing right.

Sorry but this bloke is clueless .. these are his tactics that he is employing .. we are on a bad run so pack the midfield .. get crafters in there to help those with a little skill like Toral and Maddison but instead he asks them to run about chasing fresh air like fkn headless chickens. He doesnt have a plan B and that will be his downfall .. call is arrogance or ignorance .. but he has to go.
 
Clueless, disinterested, and without any talent or ambition. If Barnsley are the worst team in the Championship, then we are without question a mid-table Division One team at best.

McCann has to go. !!! Along with at least half the players on our starting team tonight. Nine successive losses in a row. We have no goalscoring threat now Bowen and Grosicki have gone. Our mid-field is abject. We have no leader on the field. The team seems resigned to relegation. And they are likely to get their wish on tonights performance.

ABJECT!!! MCCANN OUT!!!!!!

1000% agree. Manager has to accept responsibility for this. His job is to coach the best out of the players & he has failed

Why toral excepted it was his pathetic fall over that led directly to the goal

These players are not that bad but they are heads down and given up
Only one thing will change that a new manager
 
The reaction after the goal says a lot.
While Barnsley were ****ing about celebrating (all of them as a team barring the goalie) Citys players just drifted about. A couple looking up to the sky, most hands on hips, looked like Toral and Stewart were arguing with each other on the centre circle.
No one like Gareth Roberts, Skipper, Ashbee etc to give the team a rocket.

Toral, the only half decent player in the first half, is hooked?
