There's 20 very good teams in the EPL, 3 of them have to go down, that doesn't mean the ones at the bottom must have **** managers. Blackburn have been hovering around the bottom for a few years so they are a decent bet to go down, just like the O'Driscoll/Donny situation, there's no shame for Blackburn if they finished bottom.

I think Kean's great, when there are managers out there who just sulk and mutter like Avram Grant or Houllier, ones who do everything they can to destroy the game like Tony Pulis and people like Mick McCarthy who are just plain silly, I have a lot of time for someone who's honest and says it like it is.

In any job in the country there are better candidates being excluded by bad luck/not being in the right place at the right time and other people benefitting from it. The difference in football is that within the professional leagues there are only around 120 positions available within the whole of the UK so it's far easier for it to happen, if your name isn't known your application blends in with all the other unknowns. The difference between being known and unknown is also far more pronounced as the knowns are household names, and the clubs also need to look at the impact that has on the club's ability to attract fans/sponsorship/players.

    You forgot Allerdyce .
Not only was he fairly cack as a player he's also got the biggest head , literally , in world football .
    It's massive.

I know he 's not PL any more but he should be and probably soon will be .
He's infinitely better than Kean .

I do think its good that average to poor players have shown they can get on the ladder but its about time a young British manager was given a big 4 or 5 job. When you read Allegri's record at Calgliari its not that good P72 W27 D14 L31. So he lost more than he won. He received plaudits for his style of play which is why Milan went for him.
Chelsea wouldnt even consider Holloway, or Brendan Rodgers would they.

Martinez is another good manager who flies under the radar a bit, he was a crap player but his teams tend to try and play football, and he has an eye for a player.

It was maybe a little harsh, he did play one season for Borussia Dortmund which got him a Champions League winners medal, but other than that one season, he spent his entire career in the SPL.

I didn't say he wasn't a nice bloke, just that he wasn't a very good manager(not helped by having clueless owners).

In the past twenty years, Blackburn have only been relegated once(with two seasons in the Championship before returning), other than the relegation season, they haven't finished in the bottom five. In fact, in the majority of their time in the Premier League, they have finished in the top ten. Those Venky clowns actually sacked Allardyce for finishing tenth, as they didn't believe he could deliver Champions League football, so I doubt they'll see no shame in finishing bottom.

He's massive favourite with the bookies to be the next Premier League manager sacking at 4/6 and he doesn't have the support of the Blackburn fans, he'll be gone before Christmas.
