Is AVB turning into another Wenger or Houllier?

Despite being defeated 3-1 at Old Trafford, AVB said his Chelsea team was much better than United. The only minor problem he said was that Chelsea scored fewer goals than United and couldn't put the ball into the net often enough....

Now...when and where have we heard this before? "We dominated the game, had more passes, had more corners, more shots. Therefore we deserved to win and not lose 3-0"

Was it Wenger or Houliier or both?

Is scoring not part of the game any more? Is it not about composure and accuracy in front of goal? about good goal keeping? shot stopping? Or are possession rate, passes count, shots and corners the things which show that one team is better than the other ?

 

To be fair to him, the ref was a joke in that game. Two offside goals for Man U.

Sorry Mr.Smith , but thats garbage! AVB said what most educated journo's and qualified pundits said.That is --we ended up with a scoreline that didn't reflect what happened on the pitch. And the only people who watched the game that didn't agree were a small minority of Mancs.
