On BBC Breakfast news, yesterday, they shipped in an expert to advise viewers not to walk in flooded areas in case of obstacles such as manholes that have lost covers, etc.

So, on the BBC Breakfast news this morning they had a reporter, knee deep in the water, walking down the high street.

When I switched over to ITV they also had an aquatic reporter in a different high street.

It was the same nonsense tonight with reporters wading through water obviously laden with sewage.

Are we really so dense we can only comprehend a flood if we have semi-submerged reporters ffs <doh>
