Dont like big birds tbh i leave them for spurly cos hes my boi but that mega batzilla thing had me thinking of this...
An old boss of mine used to come into work with birds of prey that he kept, nowhere near that size but some were pretty big. Amazing seeing them up close.
I like the eagle they release to fly up and down the pitch before games at Selhurst Park. Quite impressive that, more so than Palace’s annoying ultras anyway.
I saw a Bald Eagle drop out of a tree and swoop talons out towards a Chihauaua on a beach in Canada once. It was only because it startled the owners and the woman screamed, that the bird flew off. It looked every bit like that little handbag dog was going to be lunch for second though. Spoke to one of the locals over a beer in town about it later that day, and he told me that his mate had his cat taken by an eagle as it sat on the bow of his boat when he was sailing over the sound to one of the local islands.
