Agreed Cole definitely has a nasty streak. Mascherano has it too, you don't see it in many players and it's sad when you do. To be honest though, I'd say there's a big difference between being a combative left back, even one who fouls a lot, and a really dirty one. Little shirt pulls and the like are part and parcel in that position, but losing your rag and making rash challenges? Plain nasty!

    Anyway. Change of subject.

From how far out is Joe Allen going to score tomorrow? :p

being a combative player doesnt mean if you have been humilitated you have to respond with a violent tackle as the said gentleman seems to do

Dobbie against Chelsea would be dangerous man. He's a good player but defensively offers very little, so playing Allen at the head of the midfield three makes so much more sense. He can do most of what Dobbie does, but on top of that he harangues and harrasses all game, as evidenced by running over 13km against WBA! If we get anything out of this game, it's because the midfield three have kept their shape and controlled proceedings.

Chelsea vs Swansea - Chelsea will win this game for sure… AVB already made it clear that Chelsea will be going for all three points. Expecting Fernando's good form to continue and also some goals from him Chelsea will win by 4-0. Its at Stamford Bridge on Saturday..Catch the match preview, team news and much more right here at Chelsea FC News

Trying to steal not606 site traffic, shame on you! ;)

4-0? Possible, very possible. I fancy the Swans to score though, don't know why, just do.

You won't be laughing at the end of the game, putting your trust in Chelsea to wipe the floor with Swansea, is like the chap that was advised to invest heavily in sheep, turned out he'd had the wool pulled over his eyes and got fleeced. He took it badly though, threw himself out of his office window, a woolly jumper you might say. Always be wary of lamb stock!..............

Dragon--In all honesty I'd rather just see us play well and get the 3 points. It's not important to rack up a cricket score.

I can understand however those people who pay the very high prices at Stamford Bridge and wanting their value returned in the number of goals scored.

Be surprised if the score is that high to be honest. Only really good goals (Man City) or silly giveaways (Arsenal) will beat Vorm who is one of the best keepers in the Division imo. Chelsea are no Man City and I can't see another giveaway. We'll probably lose but can't see much in it.

Something tells me the swans are overrating themselves and underrating us, far too much

I think you're right! It might be a case of if you wish very hard for something it might come true.

I think that most of us are realistic and know that this is going to be a tough, tough, game. I wouldn't write us off, though, stranger things have happened. My prediction? 3-0 Chelsea but naturally I'm hoping we get something.

Think you got it wrong here, the swans will not be doing anything other than concentrating on the game tomorrow, and know what they can achieve, Brendan knows the task ahead!

But we the fans are entitled to an opinion on the game, the players, and the clubs, do you expect us just to predict losses? We should get battered every game and lose 4-0 in most games because other clubs have far more resources than us, but that is not happening is it?

Its a funny old game, and unpredictable results happen, that is why bookies make a fortune, never heard of a skint bookie, and I was in the gaming industry for 18 years

Oh of course there's a possibility, not denying you of that! You could very much spring a surprise but some of the swans look as if they know they'll win. I won't be taking it for granted but Swansea at home is a game I expect to deliver a beating (no offence :))

think the Swans are still trying to get used to the pace of the prem and have been improving every game, heart hopes swans can pinch it but head says 3-1 chelsea, time will tell, hope i am wrong. after this game only manure from the top 4 to play then spurs, liverpool hmmmmm
