We are all different and will have different opinions, personally I'm more than happy to stick with Gerrard into next season. Some people will think he's untouchable just cos of who he is, for me its nothing to do with that. I just think I've seen enough over the last 2 years to know he can get this team playing good football and get results. Last few weeks have been a let down but not enough for me to be shouting I want him sacked.

Fair enough mate, I get you'll have more invested in it than me and your opinion on the subject holds far more weight than mine. I just think that even the good things he's done has been exaggerated a wee bit. The European 'run' last year for instance. Was it a great run? You made it through the qualifers, which in my opinion, you should be doing anyway and went out the actual cup at the very first opportunity. The actual run was only 4 wins in 14 games. This season, granted a bit better, but you were never underdogs in that group and always had the chance. It's wasn't exactly Leicester winning the league stuff. The wins vs Celtic are nice but ultimately pointless. Gerrard has a system which will favour playing teams that go at you and can play a bit. Gets some nice results in Europe but only beats 1 side in Scotland. THe rest you are vulnerable to. Even the great first half to this season included a lot of tight/just won games with late goals etc. The points looked good but the football wasn't great.

What else is he meant to say after games like today? If he stood there and said I can't fault the players today they gave everything etc. ****s like Sutton would be all over that as well calling him deluded.
He just told the guy who is to start on Wednesday in the biggest game of your season he thinks he's ****e

He was ****e and will be lucky to start on Wednesday based on today. If players cant handle criticism then they are in the wrong place.

I prefer him to be honest, nothing should be getting sugar coated.

He said: “I first heard about allegations like this involving Torbett when a meeting was called in 1973 at the boys’ club. They explained to us what had been done, it would be 1972 or 1973.

“Torbett was off the scene for a while but then came back"

<yikes>

Exactly what was testified to under oath at Torbetts first trial and ten years before the now infamous "internal investigation" reported in the Celtic view where they deemed Torbet and Cainey victims of scurrilous accusations!
