No the base of the egg shouldn't be crispy. You done your usual lazy arse style and blow torched the fook out the bottom of it, by having the heat too high. Probably stuck to the pan looking at the state of it.
Look at the air bubbles in that egg yer daft fooker, it was bubbling away like a right good'un, and something defo suspect about the oil you used!
