100% bollocks. The fact of the matter is in areas where war is taking place, children and women get abused. By their own people, by their enemies and by their friends. Has nothing to do with UN peacekeepers. Unless of course you dont think warlords sanction the murder and rape of children.

On May 27, 2008, CNN reported that: "Humanitarian aid workers and United Nations peacekeepers are sexually abusing small children in several war-ravaged and food-poor countries," according to Save the Children.
Well there is a very simple answer. Pull out the peacekeepers & let the ****ers tear each other to bits. Let them get on with their wars.
You see those poor people on the news. Starving, totally malnourished etc. Yet they can buck like rabbits & knock kids out that would make rats proud.

Maybe the peacekeepers think the child prostitutes are above the age of consent? The stress of living in a warzone probably makes the kids look older than they really are.
There was one highly publicised case where members of the UN peacekeeping force were accused of direct involvement in the procurement of sex slaves for a local brothel in Bosnia. The use of agents for procurement and management of brothels has allowed the military to believe itself shielded from the issue of sexual slavery and human trafficking. Some NATO troops have been linked to prostitution and forced prostitution in Bosnia and Kosovo, as have some UN employees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where they were accused of the sexual abuse of underage girls. the abusers are from all backgrounds including russian, canadian, ukranian etc
