    Comfortable really. Great result and well deserved. Pressed well, no rash challenges and generally composed. Good performance and a platform to build upon with some decent fixtures ahead.

    Villa won a corner with 30 secs on the clock, so Reina came up. McCarthy with a big punch out to Adams, who played a long ball into the space on the right and Armstrong raced onto it and slid it into the far side of the net.

    Aston Villa have been woeful both times we've played them. How are they not bottom by a distance? Without Grealish they'd be on single figures.

    Not according to the BBC live updates.

    Saints break, Pepe Reina charges out of goal and Stuart Armstrong nicks it past him to slide the ball into an empty net and seal victory for the hosts.

    Am I really paying, not for much longer, for this level of reporting.
