    It would have been Kurt Cobain's birthday today. I can't believe he died 26 years ago! I was drinking somewhere on the Kingsway at the time - I forget where exactly!

    Playing the obvious track as it's so good...

    Crowded House's "Woodface" is a great album, it's got some fantastic tracks. G'n'R were definitely of their time and haven't aged as well as some for me. Saying that, I loved them at the time and I admire Slash as a guitarist.

    Then there was two, him and Dolenz are still singing together and the majority of it is Monkees songs so it wasn't all that bad for him I suppose.

    We're at the stage where we're lucky if there's still one or any remaining original members of the old bands. Cherish the ones left while we can.
