    ....... in an email that no-one will see due to match preparations.

    Upshot will be that the EFL will have judged us to have fielded an ineligible player, deduct the 3 points we would have won, deduct a further 15 as a punishment, plus a fine of £39m, making us fail FFP - resulting in every sanction under the sun.

    The FA will have this brought to their notice by the EFL, who will impose their own, stricter punishments, but take a year to act so that it hammers us 2 seasons in a row.

    So am I a cynic or a prophet?

    I wasn't commenting on the rights or wrongs of the systems, just how these things work in practice.

    True, but the EFL is worse as it has chairmen of rival clubs in decision making positions.

    Watching the U23s, young Poveda has seriously good skills on the ball and doesn't panic under pressure, like it. Huggins looks great at RB too.

    No sign of Mckinstry, has he been on the bench lately for the first team?
