The right back Perry Ng from Crewe is on Bow's radar if we stay in Championship https://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport...nottingham-bristol-race-crewe-alexs-perry-ng/
Didn't Kinsella and Robbo come from the 4th tier? Jamie Vardy from non-league. Gallagher from the Youth team. At least you're going to get a player who is probably match fit rather than one who can't get a game with his club, which is what we often seem to go for.
Righto, let's buy 25 players from div 3 downwards and then see if we can manage a 5-a-side team out of it.
It depends on the quality of the scouting. Curbs would not buy a player unless he'd watched him 6 or 7 times, home and away, after the player had been recommended.
Brentford are a similar size club to us, albeit with a much better track record lately. They were able to offer Lyle Taylor more money than we can, presumably without breaking the bank. I imagine a part of that will come from buying players cheap and selling them on. At some point, our wage bill is going to begin to spiral, and we will need money coming in. Anyway, a quick look at Bonne should suggest that the current scouting team are getting it right. A bit of trust in Bowyer, jacko and Gallen wouldn't go amiss.
Didn't we buy Clive Mendonca from Grimsby? Didn't Liverpool buy Joe Gomez off Charlton? Didn't Burnley buy Nick Pope off Charlton?
I tried looking it up on the interweb Opinion generally seems to be you pronounce it like the last part of many English words that end in 'ng' such as Song. If you were to imagine an almost silent vowel before the N, it might be something between E and U ... eng or ung. It seems to be an East Asian name (Singapore region). So the 'g' is not apparently pronounced separately, like some African names (N'g...) I don't know how Perry himself pronounces it though.
I'm not trying to be a reams claiming I'm some sort of scout, Kirk looks like he's well below his level though and I think he'd be worth getting along with other championship level players
