probably! Bit a of a loner I think. loner being euphamism for weirdo... keepers have a rep for being a bit 'different' not that everyone who keeps rabbits is a weirdo shall i keep digging that hole for myself?
Yep. Still says he is a Leeds fan. Apparently him and Dennis Irwin weren't quite good enough for the 2nd division!
Quite a few players won't make team if we get promoted, and some will struggle against the more professional footballers. What has to be taken into consideration is, the Championship is a different style of football to PL. These players I doubt will make team, even if kept, having said that, some will probably play at beginning if we don't buy enough new players. Douglas will struggle big time against most PL wingers and AM's, as will Ayling. Give most players an inch in PL and they'll take a mile. Cooper will be ok, if he can handle PL strikers and AM's then he'll do ok. Bamford, won't even make bench, if Bielsa's still here he'll pick him no matter what, and we'll suffer for it. Costa will struggle big time if he continues playing like Harrison, Costa needs to go back to playing his own game. Harrison won't make it, eventually will be replaced. A prem team loaned him out cos they didn't believe he was good enough for PL, and Harrison shows us why every game. Dallas will struggle, but could be a good impact sub. Roberts won't make it, not good enough to fill Saiz's position, not good enough for PL. Players to make it in team. Alioski, he's an international and plays against top professionals. Back to his left or right wings Alioskis speed, crossing, scoring and passes will be valuable and an impact. A decent striker will benefit from Alioskis crosses and speed. Pablo, while he's getting on, he'll be great as a super sub coming on for 3/4 or half a game, his experience, scoring and passing abilities are too valuable to throw away. He's a game changer, even in PL. Klich will make it, he's an international and also plays against top professionals. His playing skills and defence cutting passes will be too valuable and will definitely create an impact. White will do very well in PL, his defensive abilities are there for all to see, his ability to drive forward with ball and get defences back pedalling will be an asset, as is same with Cooper. Berardi is the most experienced and best defender we have, he always gives 120% and he ain't scared of no one, no matter how big. His defensive abilities, experience and attitude can only be an asset to team. He's also able to slot into LB, RB and CD positions, very valuable asset. If Forshaw comes back and fits back in, he'll be an asset in PL, another player who can drive forward with ball putting defences in back pedalling mode. He has passing and dribbling skills around edge of box will be a very valuable asset alongside Klich and/or Pablo. The 5 above players will have no problem playing in PL, the PL play a slightly slower game than in Championship, there more skillfull and professional players too which those 5 won't have a problem with taming. Pirlo......I left him last on purpose and for obvious reasons. Was it Villa's decision not to pay Leeds the high asking price, was it fate, or was it Phillips himself who stopped him going to prem, personally, I think it was all 3. While Pirlo will be picked if we get promoted, especially if Bielsa's still here, he's going to struggle big time, he just doesn't have the mindset or skills required for CM in prem. He goes missing quite a bit, can't get back in time a lot of the time, players will just go around him and leave him behind, he can't read a game, and his sideways and backwards passing is going to be a hindrance to team. He can't drive forward with ball like White and Cooper does, even Berardi and Dallas do it from time to time. He doesn't control the midfield, his corners and free kicks leave a lot to be desired, especially as nothing's ever come from'em. While many think Pirlo walks on water, and some are infatuated with him, I think the fans will eventually open their eyes to Pirlo. Pirlo...., not only will he struggle, he'll get caught out...Personally, I think the PL scares Pirlo....
Tell you the true story behind that Shaks.... after Harvey pushed him and jarred McQeens back, McQueen filled Harvey in back in the changing room, hence Adamson transfer listed him and he was gone to the Mancs.
I'm a wise 64 yrs very young. I use to read a lot of football mags as a kid, read up on players like Yashin, Eusebio, Rattin etc. Reason I got curious is cos of the song home and away fans were singing. Example, names are examples...............you'll probably remember it. EI, ei, ei ei, Harvey is better than Yashin, Bremner is better than Eusebio and Charlton is better than Rattin. Everyone knows who Yashin and Eusebio are, but Rattin was a big time Argentinian International player who played with Boca Juniors.
