Glad you mentioned that, during your tirade yesterday you questioned vars decision to allow the mane goal. As your so keen to address the lack of debate in the media and say "theres no agenda" why did you fail to mention this incedent (that happened during every corner we had)
No im saying, that one of those teams has progressed immensely since and one has regressed somewhat. Therefore if any team was lucky to be in the cl final last year it was you.
Not sure that anyone here is going to deny that our route to the final was fortuitous , but maybe that's difference between Spurs fans and you
I even said we were lucky in that Ajax should be kicking themselves even harder than Barca. - 3 goals up with 45 minutes to go should never have lost in a semi final.
On paper no of course they shouldnt. But they did. No one who watched the game was saying after the 1st leg against barca that we got battered because we simply didnt, we scared the **** out of them that night and they somehow came away with 3 goals. We corrected that **** at Anfield. I cant speak for your games against ajax. And if you feel you were lucky fair enough.
It wasn't just Ajax, well fell out of the group thanks to PSV equalising late at Inter, breezed passed Dortmund, but then got passed City in another victory for VAR (oh the irony!)
I loved the var victory against city! Justice for a team that got there the right way imo, even more so now with their recent ban. You gotta feel for the players and perhaps pep a bit though, all they did was play football.
Actually I'm at work so don't tell the boss. 1. What I said was I understood why Mane's goal wasn't ruled out, but was pointing out that the same isn't true of similar incidents, and the discrepancies often seem to be in favour of Liverpool. 2. You are clearly a politician as you are answering a different question to the one I asked. For your question, it seems that offences occur on just about every corner, and if they were penalised then there would probably be a penalty on every corner. I don't happen to agree with that sort of holding, but I also don't think that Liverpool are disadvantaged by it more than any other team.
Liverpool are constantly punished by VAR. I don't know how anyone can claim otherwise. How can anyone forget that time that it was used to award a penalty against them or when that player got sent off? Because neither have happened? Oh, yeah. That'll be it.
So, Mane shoves the Norwich defender in the back and is allowed to score..... rewind the clock to when Pool went to Selhurst Park, and Palace had a good goal disallowed for minuscule contact. Where is the consistency?....shock horror, it benefited The Mousers both times.
I like it because it's true. How the hell did we beat City and Ajax? I'll never know. I watched Leipzig over the weekend. We'll need the same luck to get past them.I like their center half though!
I agree, but i look as it as you make your own luck most of the time. Argue with these lot who seem to think you was lucky
Very lucky indeed to get out of the group stage. The KO stage was fair and square (especially VAR at Citeh. ) .
Loved var at city We were also a ridiculous Allison save from going out the group too. Dont mean nothing once your in the knockouts
Changing the subject Kante injured and taken off at the Bridge tonight, be good if that keeps him out at the weekend
