19-10 would have been a fair score, last ditch defending and poor finishing limited it to 5 goals. And their bloody keeper.

Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld to BBC MOTD: "The last week has been unbelievable for me with the birth of my son but I haven't slept - I had to travel eight hours yesterday..."

    Evidently.

Which begs the question: newborn baby and 8 hours travelling with no sleep, why the F did he start?

Thought Winks actually had a decent game, like you say he got better after Dier went off but he was bright.

Gedson and Gio were probably our two best players.

Jose really does need to learn that Dier-Winks is a no-no and that Alli needs to spend a bit of time on the bench.

In 1978 we won away at Villa 3-2. We didn't win again for 10 matches....

    I'm just saying.....:bandit:

I actually thought that AV overran Spurs midfield even further when Dier went off. He's not pretty but he must have done a fair job of disrupting their midfield.

Who did get MOTM? I would have thought it would be Reina until the late goal.

Especially when it's probably the one position that we've got the most cover in.
Vertonghen and Tanganga were on the bench, Dier and Davies can both play there and Foyth didn't even make the squad.
Nonsense decision and he was partly responsible for both Villa goals, though Lloris can take a share of the blame twice too.

They posted this 39 minutes ago. I commented at the final whistle and that was 53 minutes. Quicker than Son. <ok>

Thanks to Storm Dennis bringing a large tree down in the garden and all the telephone wires with it I was unable to watch to-days game. The part of the Wye Valley where I live is in full flood on the natural flood plains. No internet, no phone so I listened to our wonderful, last gasp win on my trusty old Roberts portable. The power came back a few minutes later. A smashing birthday present for which I am very grateful! COYS

Not mathematically: Norwich can still finish on 54 points, Watford 60 and West Scam 63

Mourinho "joking" about Son missing chances. I doubt he'd have been quite as jolly if we hadn't won.

Winks got better the longer the game went on. Dier on the other hand...
But as a pairing I totally agree....

Dier cannot play in a two, leaving aside how much use he might be in a three?

Winks is better in a three but lacks the athleticism to make up for Dier when it's just the two of them. Together, it's a car crash of a selection....again.

Supposedly, Mourinho was done with starting Dier....?

How he can justify it to himself, I can't imagine. Okay, Lo Celso isn't ready for 90 minutes, so...

GET SKIPP OR FERNANDES IN THE TEAM, FFS!

Just to update as many are mentioning the absence of Foyth.
    He is injured.
