I've always maintained that he was playing the role he was told to play. Klopp even said this himself a couple of months ago - he said that when he arrived he saw Hendo in a withdrawn role and thought that was where he was best so kept him there, he didn't realise what Hendo could do if let off the leash a bit. That's what the change has been this season.
