Vieira had days when he looked a world beater (was it McLaren, that eulogised over him when we beat derby) - but he also had days when he couldn’t hit a white shirt. Partly inexperience but I think it was really hard to look good as a midfielder in that team generally - no one to pass to. That’s what bielsa has done. If you are good enough technically and work hard off the ball, learn the patterns of play he likes, you will always have multiple receivers available when you get the ball ...it makes everyone look a better footballer. The whole being greater than the sum of the parts - and why mb is more fixated with oiling the parts and tuning the engine than he is with ordering a new turbo.
All the calls for plan B and dropping this one and bringing in this one have been kicked firmly into touch by Bielsa's size nines. Just do plan A properly and teams can't live with us. My only concern is if we lose Philips through suspension or injury. I think with Shacks back we would be better than we were but since he returned we've been superb. MOT
I know, unbelievable some of the results. Another tough one on Sat, well everyone of the 13 remaining games are going to be tough in there own right. But it's now back in our own hands.
Derby vs Fulham on Friday. Never thought I’d want those twats and Shrek to win a game They’ll probably lose on purpose
I believe if the lad decided he wanted to go, he would be gone. Wood refused to play one game, and was gone.
