    Should we win or draw against Blackburn we will be unbeaten going into October....when was the last time that happened?

    I reckon it would be 92-93 promotion season under Keegan, where we won our first 10 (or possibly 11) games.

    It was 11, the mackems was the 11th game.

    @ Blacky - how did we do in cups that season? We were unbeaten in all competitions in 1994-95 til the end of October (including Europe) so its least 16 years unless there was another in the interim

    Aye, we got knocked out by Chelsea in late October and beaten by Ascoli in November in the AIC. Obviously the FA Cup didnt start until Jan, we got knocked out in the 5th round, late Feb, by Blackburn.
