Michel Salgado isn't playing against us. He is possibly the worst player in the Premier League and Jonas/Marveaux/HBA would have had such fun against him. He is possibly the wildest player I have ever seen and has no pace what so ever! Such a shame he isn't starting! Well this is my team for tomorrow...

    ----------------------Krul----------------------

    Simpson-------Saylor------Coloccini-------Raylor

    Jonas--------Cabaye-------Tiote-------Marveaux

    ----------------Best-------Ba------------------

Subs - Elliott, Perch, Gosling, Ben Arfa, Obertan, Sameobi and Lovenkrands

I know a lot of you will be saying we should start Jonas on the left to help out Raylor, but first of all just here me out...

Marveuax does track back, albeit not as much as Jonas and is probably not as good as Jonas at defending. However you would expect Rochina on the right for Blackburn. He is a technically good player, but I haven't seen him go down the line once and beat his man so he doesn't pose much of a threat on the right wing. However Blackburn's best player by some distance is Hoilett and he will play on the left. So we really need Jonas on that side, in my opinion, to help Simpson against one of the best out and out wingers in the league in terms of pace and directness. I would bring on HBA for Ba for the last half hour and Obertan and Sameobi on for Jonas and Marveaux towards the end.

    What do you think?

Interesting point. I'd also play that team and formation as I dont see the point of two big strikers and inverted wingers. Put them on the side that can draw the best crosses from them (even though I dont think Jonas will be as effective on the right).

I don't know really. He has never played on the right for us, so it will be interesting to see how he does. His crossing might improve!

  4. TBH i thought he frightened the **** out of Jonas last season....

Anyway, a bit of a let down, but if their back up RB is as **** as him, then we're in for a treat.

Concerned that our only defensive option on the bench is Perch...

I personally would do that. But it seems as though he has fallen behind Dummet and Henderson in the pecking order.

Wrong. Laurent Koscielny is the worst player in Premier League history. It upsets me how someone that **** can play for a club like Arsenal, I'm as good as he is.

    My team:

    Krul
    Simpson Taylor Coloccini Ferguson
Marveaux Cabaye Ben Arfa Tiote Jonas
    Best

    Imagine a back four of...

    Salgado-------Koscielny---------Boumsong----------Konchesky

    Heavenly!

I think Squillachi (sp?) at Arsenal is worse than Laurent Koscielny. Wenger seems to be able to find brilliant forwards & attacking mids but struggles with defenders, have had a decent back 4 since the old guard. (maybes with the exception of Vermahlan) (again sp?)

Their back four last season was all French. That's like buying your cars from Romania. Although to be fair to the lad, I think Sagna is a quality full back.
