I think the important question is, why is the person on the far right of the picture holding a stick? I know Romania isn't exactly developed, but surely they have newer techniques to find water.
Also, there was only ever a period of roughly 150 years in the whole of history, from the early 1800's to the early 1960's when long hair on men wasn't the norm. Outside this window men who didn't have long hair wore wigs or complained about those who did.
This is true, hence the reason high court judges still wear wigs to this day: Background - copied and pasted: In the late 17th century, during the reign of Charles II, wigs became essential wear in society. The fashion came from the court of Louis XIV. Wig is short for periwig, which derives from the French perruque. When wigs went out of fashion during the reign of George III, judges and barristers continued to wear them in court. Judges wore the shoulder-length "full bottom" wig, now used only for ceremonial purposes, until the 1780s, when they adopted the smaller wig with a tail at the back for civil trials. The full-bottomed wig continued to be used for criminal trials until the 1840s, when the small "bench" wig, used to this day.
As I grew up in the sixties I quite like a nice head of hair on a man, but should never be worn long when you start getting wrinkles..makes you look creepy like Stringfellow. The cut-off age varies with your looks, but usually it gets thinner anyway. Fonte's locks gives him something to fiddle with when he hasn't much to do. P.s not being sexist, because women beyond a certain age should never wear their hair long either..cut shorter or worn up.
I usually had longish hair until I was in my 40's, when I couldn't disguise my advancing baldness any more! Now I'm just envious of those who can get away with it. Long hair on women is surely dependent on how good (or not) they look with it?
long hair looks nice on older women, but only if its healthy hair. hate seeing long dry straggly hair on them, makes women look like witches.
