I’m sure they’ll appeal and get at least one of the years reinstated. Does that mean Engerland will have three qualifiers or does fifth team In pl get in

Should give it to the league cup winners, **** giving it to losers, they may take the competition more seriously then

I am not sure how I feel about that news to be honest with you, if it means Man U or Chelsea sneak a place into the competition next year I'll be pissed off. I also wonder how Real Madrid and Barcelona get around it, surely they must have been outside of FFP a few times.

We need the football bubble to burst and put everyone on a more level playing field, anything below the Championship is fast becoming like one massive non league set up

Agree and for the most part the gap between the championship and pl is widening all the time

Both the FACup and the League Cup, and Prem champions and runners up qualify for the Chumps league, seems fair to me

Yep. Would do away with the bullshit of Liverpool fielding their youth team. Disrespects both the opposition and the competition to the point where a lot of football fans like me couldn’t be arsed looking at it anymore

And there we have it...domestic football fixed and everyone in love with the cups just how it used to be.

Far too sensible to ever happen.

So what is the point having a squad and younger players if they are never going to play.
I don't think the rules of the game say you have to play your A team everytime.

I see that season ticket sales are going great guns & it's looking likely that all 23000 will be renewed.

Great news for the club, but the bit I'm curious about is the number of tickets we have to make available for clubs in the PL (if we make it, of course). I can remember some clubs filling the South Stand in the PL before, others the cheese wedge - or both! Not sure how many tickets that is, but it's a lot - and currently half of the SS is presently allocated to ST holders, I believe, as is the CW. So does anyone know what our obligations might be? The max I can think of is the other half of the SS, plus the currently allocated main stand. Will that be enough?

We have to give 3000 away tickets in the Premier league, so I imagine we will add the South stand corner or a block of the West stand extra.

Cheers for that. I had no idea of the requirement. I'm absolutely positive that we've given up the whole of the South Stand when last in the PL. Why would you give so many tickets to scum, for instance, when you can easily fill it with your own fans?

That was my line of thinking, but with the layout of the 23k season tickets, we now can't!
