    Seems that Hargreaves ongoing problems may be partly due to ManU playing him by giving him injections rather than waiting for him to recover. Disgraceful (if true) considering how many players they have. Can't see Nigel doing that. (Yes, this is a thinly veiled attempt to praise Saints:grin:).

    i did wonder why it took him so long to recover, he was out for what, over 2 years? terrible.

    I think the worst case of constant injured players is at Arsenal. No idea what they put them through in training and what they do with their conditioning - it has a real adverse affect.

    We have had a few injured players at Saints as well, but I don't think Adkins would give them an injection and make them play. He's ultra-careful.

    Didn't I hear of teams, with artificial training pitches, regularly finding that their players end up with knee impact injuries..? Newcastle United spring to mind, for some reason.

    crazy that a club with so much money would have such basic problems. way to go to ruin your investments (players)!!
