    Jimmy Greaves the greatest goal scorer in English football bar none why oh why hasn't he been knighted he has his 80th birthday coming up surely a great time to give him this honour.

    Absolutely agree, and long overdue anyway when they hand honours out like confetti to others. Greavsie was also terribly unlucky not to be one of the famous 11 in 1966.

    I think he got injured in the last Group game and Geoff Hurst came in for the quarter final against Argentina
    Hurst scored the only goal of that game and kept his place
