I just had Chinese chilli chicken and noodles. The chicken had been marinading since yesterday afternoon so it was very good. No pictures.
So I've made wings once and they were nice but I cannot remember where I got the recipe from. Lot of effort for a snack imo. So in a bowl I added honey, cayenne, garlic, black pepper and water, added the wings and left them overnight in the fridge. removed from the water and added to a bowl of seasoned flour (salt pepper and cayenne), deep fried them. mixed honey with Encona hot sauce and tossed the wings in it. I've never had better wings.
Read somewhere it helps with the marinade, never done em without bashing them so not sure if makes any difference tbh.
Removed from the water? Try seasoned crushed cornflakes on them next time instead of flour. If you like a crunchy coating anyway. Bare in mind rhe finer the flakes the less crunch you get
Yeah I soaked them in a spiced water mixture overnight first. Don't like the idea of a fake crispy coating, they should be crisp from the fryer anyway.
My wings are pretty good but I agree with Luv about them being a bit lengthy just for a snack. Best tip for wings is blast the **** out of them then cook them really slow. I find the sauce etc. doesn't make too much difference but the way they're cooked does.
Never heard of that method before in water. Id you use melted butter it sticks to the skin mate. Then you can cover in flour or flakes and keep maximum seasoning. The cornflakes makes the coating like kfc hot wings btw, so if you like them you'll like the flakes
Yeh be no different apart from you may over crisp them by blasting 1st and slow after. Im like a ****ing professional at setting kitchens on fire so i go the safe way
Serious question. Are tuna an cheese baguettes a staple snack for the Asian community? As I did an appointment up in the Black Country the other week. Really lovely young Asian couple. She made me a tuna, cheese, red onion and pepper baguette. A tiger baguette too. Even gave me a pack of walkers sensations. Sat me at their dining table to eat it. Got told many years ago that if you are offered hospitality by an Asian family not to decline anything as they get insulted if you turn it down. was bloody lovely. I’ve found a new love for tuna baguettes since.
When youve done some of the fukeries things ive done when i was younger cadets is one of your prouder phases as a kid. I have broad horizons bro
