Apparently he didn't give us the drive White did in the previous game's. According to the nutjob anyway.

He had a very good game, even the Brentford commentary team said he was outstanding

Just scrolling up through the posts and now I know for sure we have a WUM amongst us, I can’t be bothered to quote him in or point out how wrong he is anymore, no drive in midfield like when White played in the position, just shows how they have no clue

Phillips was absolutely top class, played forwards more often than not and hit some superb diagonals with pace and accuracy.

Also good to see solid performances from Ayling and Cooper...we simply must play the same back four for the rest of the season if possible.

Looking forward to seeing how Meslier shapes up on Saturday as Kiko is now finished as a Leeds player. There is always a moment with goalkeepers when you know it's the end and unfortunately we all witnessed that tonight.

Press Conference - Brentford boss said... For me Leeds are the best team in this league.

When asked what did he learn from Forest v Leeds he replied “Nothing. I already know what they do. They dominate every game in this division.”

Hope you’re right. Fingers crossed. Seems to me, there are only so many points a team can squander over a season and get away with it. We’re close to that point now and no room for daft goalkeeping from here on

I'll bet he was dying to say if we had a 'keeper and a natural goalscorer we would have walked this league,
    diplomacy is a bitch sometimes

Bielsa needs to stop listening to fans screams for Augustin to start or play, throw him in the U23s and get a couple of back to back 90 minutes out of him. Let’s get Augustin and Poveda up to the fitness level required ASAP.

Casilla crap, Bamford crap, new guy not much better, but the rest, couldn't fault them, very good effort, and the least we deserved.

Might as well get him fit by playing, it's not like Bamford did anything.

Does anyone else think that Hernandez is a weak link at the moment ?

He just gives the ball away far too frequently, which is forgivable if he's also creating chances but he's not. My view is he's much better out wide and it's a fallacy that he can play a more central role.

Is this post actually Captain Jackboot stating in his own inimitable style that Phillips was brilliant tonight? Hasn't slagged him once. Never happened before. <doh>

I thought Pablo has been our worst outfield player for at least the last two games. Not the same player this year, would be happy to see him dropped

He’s right... and a bunch of managers said the same thing last season... dean smith commented on how unlucky we were not to have gone up. Managers look at stats and patterns of play and know that whether the ball ends up in the back of the net is usually a numbers game with an element of chance. We just stack those odds against ourselves with weaknesses in a couple of key positions.

Phillips mom for me but wouldn’t argue with ayling... who was outstanding at forest too.

dallas way more secure at left back than alioski.
Agree that this needs to be the back 4 subject to availability for the rest of the season.

Happy with the point, would have taken a draw before kick-off.

    Deserved a victory

    Phillips immense tonight

Not so sure that he's a weak link, but you have a point. It was Bielsa that moved him to the wing - successfully - and quite a few of us questioned that - wrongly.

I suspect he's been played there because it's a problem area we've had since Forshaw excelled there earlier in the season, and Pablo is our last resort to try to get some consistency.

I described him as shot a few weeks back. To be honest he’s always been hit and miss away from home in the second half of the season in my view. A genius when on it, but the good days seem to be fewer and further between.
