Well deserved. We've been the better team. Pressing well and turning the ball over high up the pitch. It's just that clown in goal who has cost us.... again!
Great first half apart from Kiko, oh my, least said the better. Whites passing a bit off, Pablo still not at his best and I would vote to ban anyone who calls Phillips after that first 45 minutes, broke up numerous attacks, pinging some lovely passes out to Harrison and totally controlled the middle of the park.
The horrendous calamity aside that was a reasonably positive half against a very dangerous side. We look much, much more solid at the back. Harrison's shot wasn't as hard as some of the passes back to their keeper! It shouldn't even count as on target
Yep played well, Phillips been brilliant. Usual final ball problem. Costa been great defensively... putting himself about, great to see.
Now. I'd also like to put something else to bed. The support for the players at Brentford (and all games) is second to none. I find it disrespectful to say that the fans put too much pressure on the players. The away fans sang Kiko's song all through that first half before and after his f**k up. That's support. They pretty much went through every player in the team to show the support. It's not the fans what let this club down.
