Good luck to the famous men of Sunderland Also good luck to the famous red and white army for braving the conditions ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK
If, as suggested, he does play Charlie Boy with Gerry Rafferty we should batter Rochdale with the two rams, then when we're winning 3-0 rest Charlie Boy and play nice/proper football, on the deck, with Gerry on his own up front with a more nimble/pacey support (I'm thinking about Semenyo in particular) to finish the job
Really strong gusts of wind presently in Sunderland, hopefully we try and play on the ground, rather than launching ball upfield to Wyke. Plenty of litter will be on pitch tonight.
BTW someone needs to be coaching Hume on his shooting when he's coming onto balls played across the box. I know he's scored one but he's hesitant and tries to sidefoot everything.
A few of the players are getting close to a suspension (Dobson & Maguire) so there will be some enforced changes soon. Hopefully we get off to a quick start, 3 nil up and then make a few changes early in the second half.
I've just said to my son I'm expecting us to score quite a few tonight ... ... go a goal up and I think they'll lose heart.
Maybe hoping we go a couple of goals up before changing again giving time to adjust. Ha'way the lads.
Hoping and expecting a win. A bit disappointed that a couple of the subs were not given a starting place.
Tonight would have been the ideal chance to freshen things up abit and give a couple of the new lads an opportunity. I really dont understand Parkinsons way of thinking sometimes.
Just checked the kick off times and Coventry is 7.45 ... ... I was expecting it to be 8.00 for some reason.
It was broken after the Pompey game though wasnt it and were still seeing the same players picked. What was the point in building up a decent sized squad up in January only to play the same players every single game? Weve had about 4 games in the last 2 weeks now, with players coming close to a suspension.
