    5:50 Glenamoy Lad

unfortunately price has gone but is drawn perfectly behind the pace, has the course form and his last run was better than bare result. If he gets a clear run I think he will win this nicely.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cohesion runs well in the 4.45. There was a bit of money going down on this one last time out when not moving well according to jockey explanation and again today odds are shortening. Dangerously handicapped in my opinion (reached a career high mark of 105 in March 2017). Today on a career low mark (64) and drops down to class 6 for the first time. Decent pilot takes off valuable 5 lb. 16/1 on offer worth an each way bet.

In the first at Chelmsford Poppy May looks to have a nice each-way chance at 8/1. A cd winner with last 2 runs suggesting a return into the winners enclosure rather sooner than later.

    hi fellas!

    chelmsford,2 40:

well, elusif is the obvious starting Point here.hes apparently on the crest of a wave at present, but i have a slight dislike About horses running so quickly in a short space of time.a 4th win on the bounce very possible, though, but i feel, the value might be with FIELDSMAN.has turned in two solid efforts since the turn of the year, and is on his last Winning mark now,so might be coming to the boil now.good Chance.

Sometimes I wonder how crooked racing is. It was backed in from 8s to 4s. I hope the stewards had words with everyone connected.

i don’t think there was anything other than the horse who could explain that run. He did the same last time, he needs something to concentrate his mind!! Eek!

shows a good deal at home and then turns into a muppet on track. He was very strong on the exchange so it was more than just shortening from bookmakers. Don’t give up on him, when he’s had a cut he could be very interesting

my issue is that he ended up widest of the three when his draw gave him the best slot for getting towards stands side. He may have got caught up in the scrimmage but I’d have liked him to ride to his draw more

I agree, Franny just seemed to be barely cajoling him along, maybe he felt the horses class might get him there without much work but it wasn't to be. A friend of mine landed a substantial bet on this horse a while back and we get the personal tracker alert from him each time he runs so he's become a bit of a cult figure for our group of friends.

Quite a lot to be said about the 5.50, but I'll try to keep it short.

First, I agree that Franny isn't the force of nature he used to be, and these days he only seems to win on the ones you'd expect him to win on; the years when he could summon up a galvanic burst of energy to turn a losing cause into a winning one seem to be over.

That said, I've got some sympathy for this ride. He sat in (reasonably, because of the big weight and the strong headwind), and just inside the two-pole I thought he was looking towards the gap on his right - towards the stands rail - when he saw the 5th horse (Barrington) start to lug right. He didn't have a lot of time, and decided to go left. The rider on the 4th (Mia Mento) stuck to the right--hand option and nearly got squished as a result. The other thing, of course, is that he probably just ran into one, and it's likely that the winner would have won however the race unfolded. Looking ahead, you'd say that Mia Mento's turn isn't far away.

Can't always post on a Wednesday but, if I can, I'll dissect and mock your Southwell selections in the morning.
