If only he could name them on Brentford’s teamsheet - we’ll have their keeper and Benrahma or Watkins

Not sure you're right on the opposition not creating more chances, teams were getting 1 or 2 in December, forest had a lot of chances while we had 1 shot on target, so I know it's only one game but we created about 20% of the chances we have been creating, while the opposition have created about 3x the amount of chances they were creating, not really interested in 70% possession as it's mainly at the back and isn't creating chances.
Hello All Worst I've seen them play all season. They lack confidence and are totally sh1t scared of the opposition. Not going to start about Bielsa, as I really cant be arsed anymore.. Did anyone see Luke Aylings post match interview? This is a really sad, lost confidence, negative player.. Quite sad to see in fairness. If he acts like this to the other players, its no wonder they are all on a downer.. Time the team grew a pair, dropped our 'amazing' goal keeper, and reviews all the other under performing players as well. Pablo also had a shocking game. I would like to know wtf has happened to our team, as they just arent the same one anymore..
Respectfully Eire......... You've also said the defence are to blame as well. If the defence restricted other teams earlier in season, they can't be doing it now into second half of season. In general, When defence play crap and Kiko lets a goal in, it's Kiko's fault. Behind the defence is Kiko, behind Kiko is no one. Most are talking about the players confidence being shot, Kiko is in same team and should be included with the other players. Kiko has a possible suspension hanging over his head as well. Kiko has saved us quite a few times when defence stuffed up.
I think we need to scrap training for a week and bring a shrink in, sit them down and give them a moral boosting chat
it is just one game and forest didn't actually create much... they were given 3 chances on a plate, took two of them. Their other shots on target were from distance/free kick. We're a soft touch at the back, definitely. Most worrying today was how many promising positions we got into.. that didn't result in a chance. Terrible final ball and decision making. Our build up play up to that point wasn't all that bad. We had loads of possession in their half and some though not enough in their box... clear cut chances from that? Just a couple. That's what was worrying. I think it's been a problem since bielsa came, we get lots of half chances - but on saturday we struggled to muster even that. How many times did harrison/costa/alioski have the ball in decent attacking positions. They have to have players making the runs to hit... but Blindfold the fckers and they'd have hit a leeds shirt more often. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1...hampionship-2019-2020-Nottingham-Forest-Leeds click on chalkboard/touches and see how often we had the ball in decent positions - it also shows how little we attack through the middle (did we get more variety with Saiz making those runs?) forest on the other hand rarely went wide when they had the ball...indicative perhaps of them winning the ball in transition and driving forward with it.
He made a few good saves earlier in the season, saved us a few points... although he still cost us in others - shocker goal at Charlton etc. He was much improved and I applauded him for it. Last few month's he's been a liability. Had BPF made the howlers kiko is making every week now... you'd be writing essays about him every match. All keepers make mistakes, but he's costing us goals and points time and time again.
For me, we’ve made too many changes to replace the missing Phillips. First we lose our best CB into the DM role. Then we move Ayling over to CB and we play a different RWB usually Dallas meaning Alioski goes in at LWB and we all know he can’t defend and between him and Harrison our left side is continually exposed. Ideally we should just bring in someone on the bench to cover Phillips, if we really must play White in that position bring Berardi on at CB Hopefully against Brentford we’ll see a more balanced team sheet, Dallas back in at LWB Ayling on the right White back alongside Cooper In the centre
The defence are terrible now because they are a bag of nerves. They know on the law of averages, Kiko won't come for a ball and will let in at least a third of what's fired at him. Is it any wonder the defenders now have no confidence
Most of us agree that the rot started when we were 3 up at home to Cardiff. If I remember correctly, Kiko came charging out his of goal to catch a cross on the penalty spot, the problem was there were about five players in his way. He missed the ball and Tomlin hooked it in. He has made three major blunders against Wednesday, Wigan and Forest when all those games were 0-0. He has to be dropped. Alioski was ridiculous on Saturday, I'm much happier when Douglas is playing at left back. Move Pablo out right and take Costa off, he might be better as an impact sub. I know much more than Bielsa, btw.
I understand and can see the point you're trying to make Eire, but the defence themselves shouldn't be dropping their confidence, they should be playing better to help protect the keeper.
Recently, we’ve only had one natural defender in the right position, it can’t help and I agree, they’re all more concerned about protecting Kiko or giving a corner away as they have no confidence in him
i agree. it's the total football thing... we have a bunch of players who can play in a different position. Can play, and would ideally play are not the same. If one guy is out you don't weaken the team in 4 other positions to cater for it. In fairness he has always said that phillips is close to irreplaceable, but still i don't agree with moving a buncg of others out of their comfort zone or regular positions to try to cater for it.
must be a lot of us who know more than bielsa then, as i can't disagree with any of that... except not sure who is replacing pablo if roberts is crocked again
If BPF had made howlers I would be writing about it, you're quite right, but is Kiko the only one to blame? 11 players play on field as a team, is Kiko the only one making mistakes, and I agree he's made a couple. Isn't it the defences job to keep ball away from keeper, isn't it the defences job to help protect the keeper..........there's no one behind a keeper. Someone on here mentioned, during corners and free kicks our players are standing in front, behind and at side of kiko, and opposing players are standing in front of them. How the hell is a keeper suppose to be able to move when he's closely surrounded by 7 or 8 players...........answer is, he can't..............I've seen it on videos and wonder what type of tactic that is that Bielsa has got'em doing. Secondly, when you have 3 or 4 of our players surrounding kiko, they ain't marking anyone in penalty / goal area, so the opposing team are going to have free moving players. I challenge anyone on here to closely surround themselves with around 7 to 8 people, then see how far you can move, bet it's not even half a step. It's Leeds United, not Kiko United.
it's more than a couple LL re the corners, i agree... we have blockers for their blockers.. who just get pushed in to him and less likely to get a free kick. It's not 7 or 8 its 3/4 but it's still clearly a tactic and a hindrance. All sides try it. So if it's a problem... and by the way it was a tactic used on bpf... who got billy sharped at the blunts last year for example. This is a set-piece coaching staff issue but it's surely also the responsibility of the ex real madrid 40k a week guy to say ditch the blockers unless they're strong enough to stand their ground. It's generally alioski falling into him.
You saw Alioski bump into Kiko once, I saw it too, and you say he's the main culprit.................amazing. Kiko can say ditch the blockers all he likes, Bielsa listens to no one, and I'm willing to bet Kiko's mentioned it, as an ex keeper I would've mentioned it ages ago. And bollocks is it 3 or 4, I watch the matches too. You only have to nudge a moving keeper slightly to push him off balance. Whatever the tactic is, it's still stopping 3 or 4 of our defenders making opposing players in our box. Many many people have said many many times we fail at set pieces................I wonder why when opposing teams have free moving players in box.
