and thats where you are wrong religion doesnt stop you questioning. the message is 'question ALL knowledge' churches of all denominations are what prevent it, for their own gain but that is why we have free will most people become anti religion because they dont like what they are being told, and accept a new set of beliefs (science) without questioning that and just accepting and i disagree if you question/ridicule religion you are seen as 'modern' but to do the same of say evolution will lead to you being questioned/ridiculed
personally i think mans 'hatred' of religion is down to the fact that he did NOT invent/create it Its that power thing again
We have no free will if god is real. Its completely impossible. God cannot be all knowing while allowing man free will. If our future is already known as it must be for god to be all knowing then we have no free will. What will be will be.
depends how you see god i suppose if you see him as an old man with a white beard and white robes I agree he doesnt exist. This was some religions attempt at making him 'real' which back fired imo If you see Giod as an entity, a creator, that has to be different than his creation (as creators tend to be) then it is feasible without free will there is no accountability. other animals clearly dont have free will and we can see their limitations
Creators have a great imagination. God by definition is all powerful and all knowing. Anyone can create but you have to be a god to be all knowing and all powerful. That means if god is real and religion is true then mankind does not have free will. A creator in terms if everything not created by mankind can all be traced back to energy one way or another. In one form or another energy created every thing in the universe.
Well I can't speak for all religions but I do believe the Roman Empire certainly reinvented early Christianity.
I have no problem with anyone having a 'faith' the thing that bugs me is kids being told "this is Fact and if you think otherwise you'll be dammed for eternity" **** off you assholes and stop scaring children. Just my opinion
I wouldnt say romans nas such, although the likes of constatine had a huge input For me christianity is the most distorted of all religions, and so far removed from the original teachings to link it to jesus should be a sin
again the 'keepers of religion' do this and people then use that as a way of hating on religion There is no heirarchy in religion, the churches and priests are there for us not us fo them. as are the rulers this obviously doesnt go down well with them. If some one is telling kids this why are they getting away with it? religion forbids this its like anything else. rather than taking responsibility its easier to hate because 'they' are doing wrong fluck them, they dont own religion
If there is one religion/ideology that man is/was unable to create its islam I suggest your views are based on litte/no knowledge of islam. just waht you have been told/heard
i disagree. freewill is the essence of there being a god who created energy? and why cant that energy be god?
Islam is the youngest of the religions. It is clearly obvious it was created by man. What evidence do you have that it wasnt. Not beliefs but actual evidence that mankind didnt create the islamic faith.
Ah but, these 'original teachings' were selected by the Romans. There are thousands of texts out of which the Empire selected what suited itself. There is also no physical evidence that Jesus ever existed,so again,it's a matter of faith.
It is indeed the youngest in one sense. But it reaffirms and corrects the past. You only need to look at the state of arab society of the time. The message it bought which was against what was taking place at the time The quran is a miracle in itself. Its writing and format has never been done before or since. Muhammad was illiterate yet wrote a book that the scholars of the time couldnt write There are many things in the quran which science has recently confirmed, which could not have been known at the time also there is a challenge in the quran to write a verse like it, which has not been met 1400 years down the line
Ok.... I do not know if any of this is true or not but.... Did Mohammed run a business? Was the koran written after his time. At least in the way muslims today know it?
