watched it on a stream. we were rubbish. we posed no threat whatsoever. we need to go to away games and just shut up shop. grind the points out. we're capable of staying up if things/philosophy changes. with pratley and davis playing, pratley should drop to sweeper and cover pearce (who is a liability). alfie should have played over purrington.
Joking apart, I get the feeling something happened yesterday that might be a bit out of the ordinary for Royston. His reaction seems most unlike him. Guess it could just be that the Stoke debacle was the straw that broke the camel's back for him. But I'm not sure. Hope it is nothing too serious.
Was reading a Wigan forum earlier (how sad is my life) and they are a lot more despondent than us, I really think we'll be ok this season
I think Wigan and Luton will go down, Barnsley are still fighting. Although we beat them they hit the woodwork 3 times and Phillips made a worldy at 1-0, whereas apart from the goals their goalie was not too troubled, and we were never really in control. I'm hoping one of the teams just above us goes into freefall.
