Fair enough then mate, I just detest being in the car with someone who puts their iPod on and skips every two songs or buys an album and only listens to two songs off of it.

It's the classic and I have an armband thing I use in the gym.

I hate that too. When I put the iPod on in the car my friends always grab it and switch songs and I have to politely tell them to piss off and leave it alone.

Apparently that was the final straw for Anders Behring Breivik. He was going to call the whole thing off then his mate started skipping tracks. The rest is history.

It's not a joke, it's what happened. And you're calling it a joke. You're sick, just sick <grr>

I wish Sony would make one. I have a 32GB Sony which has great sound quality and will never ever break but It's full up and I could easily fill it twice again and still be putting music on it. It's quite easy to fill them up over a period of time as I get about 35-50 albums a year depending on whether the year's any good or not.

Why has nobody mentioned Zen Micro's yet? They make them as big as 32GB I think, but those ones are mainly for video. They're the Ipods only real competitor.

Zen's are excellent players but my music collection is over 100 GBs and they don't make them as big as that which is a shame because the best quality mp3 player I have ever had was a 16 GB Zen.

I've been collecting for nearly 30 years and have over 1000 albums. When I bought my iPod a couple of years ago I had to buy the 120GB and the 160GB had been discontinued. I now find I'm running out (only 10GB left!). I could buy another 160GB iPod but to be honest I dont like iTunes and would prefer something bigger than 160GB to give me more freedom (I only store music - I dont store films, audiobooks etc). Cant find any decent alternative to the iPod Classic though!

There are other hard disk models (the Archos comes to mind) but these are a little bit too bulky. If anyone comes across a decent high capacity player I'd be interested to hear.

I own about 700,000 songs but I got my mate who works for apple to get someone to make me a special one so I can fit it all on. They don't sell them, so feel pretty privileged.
