That's embarrassing enough, but I can't believe Aiden McGeady was considered the poorest of all our loan players and so was left out for that reason alone. It's obvious the bloke isn't match-fit. He's been training with the U23's for months and filling his pie hole at the drive through. F**king joke. For the first time this season I believe we are now odds-on to be relegated.
He was on the bench against Barnsley and looked okay. In fact it was surprising that he didn't come on instead of Hemed.
Thanks for that info FHB, I didn't know that. OK, I was just venting some frustration, but I still don't get why we haven't seen him kick a ball yet. Was it really because we have too many loanees? ESI have let us down BIG-TIME. The January transfer window was a disgrace. Somebody somewhere said McGeady was was ill today I think. Unbelievably frustrating if that's the case. Probably won't see him on Tuesday then either.
He should not have been here to begin with!! As l have always said, while Bowyer is in charge we will be relegated. Today was not just a bad day at the office; we are simply not good enough
Moving on from the spanner interrupting, McGeady not being in the squad is criminal. I am not saying he is the answer to our prayers but with all the b******* with the promises then let downs in the transfer window, is he not fit?
I am warming to your posts. 1....Southall is/was a football agent, they are suspect. 2....I still think Bowyer has transformed things since Portsmouth in March 2018. 3....I would give Bowyer till October, even if we go down.
Southall said Bowyer would get proper backing. Yeah, right. The worrying thing is, LB seems fairly pleased with what he got. If our form doesn't improve and Charlton are relegated, I'm going to have to conclude Bowyer is partially responsible - if the January signings we got really are the players he wanted. Not saying LB should go (though he may leave anyway rather than go through the L1 thing all over again). Just that it won't be entirely Roland and/or ESI who are to blame. Should Bowyer stay, I believe he can get us promoted again - probably first time - if ESI pull their finger out.
I have thought this for a long time, Wigan will be the relegation game. We MUST be out of the bottom three going into the Leeds game. For optimism read a Jeddez post!
Let’s keep real we’re not a strong championship side and to go to stoke and expect anything other than maybe a draw is fantasy. Give the new boys time (we haven’t got a lot I know ) to settle!
