The 70s was ****. Even decimalization couldn't save it. It's only saving grace was punk music.

The 80s were much better.

 

Excuse me? Did the Eighties have T.Rex, Ziggy era Bowie, and The Stranglers on TOTPs? No they ****ing didn't, they had Jimmy Somerville and Alison Moyet, both of whom were ****. So do yourself a favour and admit defeat

 

I met Alison Moyet once. She was walking her Alsatian at Wat Tyler Country Park in Pitsea, Essex. Nice lady, I must say.

In terms of music, the 70s were better. Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Led Zep and Pink Floyd were all in their pomp.

The 80s did produce some top stuff, though, namely the Smiths and Dire Straits.
