They have it with fish as well but yeh it tends to take the taste away. Don’t know what it is like in Thailand but they cant eat food without sambal/chillie sauce here. My Mrs carries sachets or a bottle everywhere with her in UK. She is sat at home now eating gorengan (literally fried stuff) with spicy sambal for breakfast.
Yeah, it must be an Asian thing, as they will eat anything for brekkie, get the charccoal going, get the rice, get the chillis.. Mind they probably find a full english brek strange..so all is good.
Cooking late tonight, just put a stew on, and also some meatballs carrot and onion sweet potato in a sweet spicy tomato sauce that ill have with rice Stew for tomorrow.
I have issues with the sausages. I’ve no idea how greasy spoon cafes cook them as they always look like that. Assume they whack them in a deep fat fryer. I would destroy that though.
No idea how they were cooked but completely agree, the sausages are ****e. They always are. Regards the rest, that is the best poached egg they've ever presented. there is usually a tea spoon full of egg jizz with the poached ones so i go for fried ordinarily. Today though, they pulled it off. The toast is also usually just warm bread. It's a cheap as subsidised canteen, I can handle the odd crap sausage!
That would be worse. But they always look like that. Surely they deep fry them and they’re done in a few minutes.
One thing we can rest assured within your cooking mate, is that it will never be greasy. Simply because you burned the shhite out of it
These were freshly cooked, yes. They come straight in from the kitchen, there's a lot of refreshing of the food on a Friday morning.
