Match Day Thread Stoke City (A) - match day comment only

We need 4 points from the upcoming games against Stoke, Forest & Blackburn.

 

And most importantly to not lose to Stoke.

 

The bottom 5 teams all have home games this weekend.
Wigan 17/10 v Preston
Barnsley 9/5 v Sheff Weds
Stoke 8/15 v Charlton
Luton 2/1 v Cardiff
Huddersfield 13/10 v QPR

80/1 5 fold - have some of that

All must fancy getting something from these fixtures.

 

We are ridiculously over priced v Stoke. A win will pay for my day.

 

Plus they are all at home midweek.

 

Stoke unbeaten at home in 5 games and Charlton haven't won any of their last 12 aways - seems a fair price considering!!!

 

Price is based on our pre Barnsley form, when injuries forced us to play a team of kids & no hopers who more belong in the Millwall side.

 

Doubt many (if any) of your seniors would get in our side let alone the kids

 

I will be in the home end on Saturday. My Wife's relations will be with me. I must remember to keep my gob shut, something I find hard to do. Am travelling up tomorrow.

I am still not sure of Purrrington in a flat back 4, remember how we improved at QPR when Bow brought Purrington off and sent Pearce on into a five at the back.... however.... can't see a left wingback in Cullen, Pratley, Davis & Williams but little Matt Smith can play left wingback.

 

On the Stoke official site that they are having a pitch inspection at 14.00 today.
