I liked his stooge work with Arthur Haynes (it's been a long time.Hope I spelt that right!) Nickle..ars!
I was wondering why the coverage of the sad death of Kobe Bryant was so prominent in this country? Not claiming people should not be mourned but the guy played a sport which is not one of the ones mostly followed over here AND THEN we get the terrible news that Nicholas Parsons passed away. And still Bryant remained a bigger story. Nicholas Parsons has been a national treasure for decades, and is surely more appropriate for a British audience to mourn? Of course, you have to be careful where you post such questions these days, as those that sit around waiting to be offended will accuse me of having no respect for the dead.
Tonight, from Norwich ... ?? I loved Sale of the Century on TV when I was a kid (he had a lovely spoken voice) .
Google say there has been a spike in searches for Corona beer virus. I always put a slice of lime in it.
In case you had not seen the adverts, Dicovery channel are showing a series called "BIG" presented by Richard Hammond and one of the episodes will be about the New Stadium , look out for it in the future
https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-complaint-bbc-racism-the-one-show-a4352846.html Proof, if it was needed, that it doesn't matter that Antonio Rudiger's allegations weren't supported by any evidence and aren't likely to be true. Agenda based reporting just ignores the truth and ploughs on regardless. In this mad, 'publicity as truth' world, Chelsea are now paragons of virtue in this and we're the racists. The club's PR silence at work again.
At this point the most likely scenario is Rudiger hear the chant of "Who let the Yids out? Who? Who? Who?" and mistook it for monkey chants, yet at no point did anyone seem to come out and say that's one of our chants and could be misconstrued by somebody in the heat of the moment I think that's why Chelsea's stance went from "We were told there were racist chants" to "We heard racist chants" in a pretty short space of time, as they can cite the Baddiel Defence if called out on it
They asked this bloke on to talk about racism in football: please log in to view this image I wonder why they didn't invite Jason Lee on, too?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-51383435 But let her carry on driving because it's the young who pose the risks, right?
There really should be some age limit where mandatory testing comes into play. It's unfortunate and it would damage the lifestyle of some elderly people, but it's too risky not to do it.
OK as long as you raise the age limit to 25 for start up drivers who are the major danger on the roads and lets look at the 30 - 50 age group who tail gate. Or even white van man who is under so much pressure to make a living he has to speed and take chances. And you want to pick on the the few old folk who cock up every year.
Can they have mandatory checks for literally everyone who drives within half a mile of my house? It's not fun living in an area where lanes of traffic are divvied up between boy racers, people really angry at the fact they just drove on the M25, the usual Audi & BMW twats, unmarked van drivers, and elderly drivers too afraid of getting out of their lane even though they're currently going up the wrong way of it
Do you work for inland revenue? Testing people solves little they just revert to type after the test. I suspect all this will be solved by the cars as they take over the driving. We are probably the last of people who will drive as the computers take over. People will have to go to tracks to experience driving a car for themselves. We all know the frustrations of call centres and dealing with robots. I can imagine us all sitting in our cars as the cars do the driving and the sat nav decides the route. WHY are we going this way we always get stuck this way!! Bloody hell if we go any slower I'm getting out to walk!! and so on.
