Would you kindly explain to me the meaning of the column titled 'GD', please, and consider why it may be relevant in determining if we are 8th or 'joint-6th'.

    Thank you.

    That's not a Swastika - it's a akitsawS....

    Left-handed? Mirror image? Even sinister.......

I've converted to Buddhism. Many religions, including mine, see it as a symbol of peace.

    Thank you, my kind sir.

Have to agree with Unabomber on this one, the Swastika is an ancient Hindu symbol, there was a bit of an outcry in the 90's when Depeche Mode singer Dave Gahan decided to sport Swastikas in an attempt to be 'cool' but unfortunately the symbol has lost it's initial meaning given the atrocities perpetuated by the Nazis who appropriated it as their symbol. All my own words by the way in case I'm accused of thickness :1980_boogie_down:

Dear UnaBomber, I was deeply offended by your lack of knowledge of Buddhism. To help you better understand my newfound religion, here is a link to a very useful piece of information:

Of course Erik is half right in that other religions have used the symbol, but it's origins are Hindu.

The post to which he originally responded said "many religions, including mine, see it as a symbol of peace".

    ....Buddhism developed out of Hinduism.

(Still - what a pissy avatar! Bound for controversy - as if your 'Percymism' isn't enough).

It appears that we are both in the same boat - neither of us have a ****ing clue what you're talking about.

I said Buddhists, like many other religions, saw it as a symbol of peace. You then started talking utter ****e that was entirely irrelevant.

It's only controversial if certain ****tards decide to comment without knowing what it even is.

Am I the only one that's read between the lines to see the humour in saying that having the swastika this way round makes it sinister?

I imagine it'll become an issue if we're "joint sixth" at the end of the season.

    Not like we will be.
