Not really. I went with my younger brother. We decided to try and get in and if we couldn't, we could make it back to our mum's place for the second half.

I had £20 or £30 in my pocket, maybe to buy off a tout at kick off, but someone we met said to go to a particular gate and put £10 down...and it worked.

No excuses not to make the last 8, Jose has already managed Spurs against both opponents so nothing surprising for him

I used to steward the Wembley games at that time , went to every game from 81 to 84 so might have let you in Brian
Me and a mate used to work the inner gates , then we found out that we should have been paid for doing it but the " head steward" gave us the meal voucher and programme but unknown to us the thieving git took out the money Envelope, called it a day when after the England v Denmark euro game someone in our pen chucked a plastic pint pot of piss over the Danish fans and the next game we were taken to a room and met by an FA committee and interviewed for an hour over what happened .
Too much aggro for a sandwich and programme, the eng v Scotland games and liverpool v Everton were fights from beginning to end

It was 2 to a turnstile that was a favourite method. I know this cause my dad worked on the turnstiles for a while.

Good to see Davies getting back near fitness. Maybe the Villa game?

    Wednesday 5th February 7.45pm
    FA Cup 4th Round Replay
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

An exceptional result against City, but we may have picked up another casualty in Dele Alli.
There's a bit of a break after this one, so we really need to make it count and progress.
Southampton had a bit of a demoralising beating from Liverpool, but they've had an extra day of rest.
Their recent form has been very too and I doubt they'll take the loss to heart too much.
Can Mourinho navigate another replay or will we come unstuck at home?

It's not been long since the first match, so there's nothing much to report on our opponents.
Injury news for us is posted above, while Southampton only have Armstrong out and a late test for Valery.
Neither side has any suspensions, but Bergwijn is ineligible, as is Walker-Peters for them.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Tanganga; Lo Celso, Winks; Son, Alli, Bergwijn; Moura.
Subs: Gazzaniga, Vertonghen, Dier, Fernandes, Ndombele, Lamela, Sessegnon.
    League form: DLLDWW.

Southampton: McCarthy; Ward-Prowse, Stephens, Bednarek, Bertrand; Redmond, Hojbjerg, Romeu, Djenepo; Long, Ings.
Subs: Gunn, Danso, Vestergaard, Smallbone, Boufal, Adams, Obafemi.
    League form: DWWLWL.

Ref: David Coote. VAR: Stuart Atwell.

    TV: BT Sport 1.

How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the City game?
Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch?
Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting Southampton to go with?

Very quiet questions. I'll replace the video if our official footage is better.
A rather sedate conference from Mourinho. Looks a bit rough, actually.

Tempted to say same team as Sunday but we put one hell of shift in so I'd be cautious as to whether the energy levels will be at 100%. Gio and Winks especially covered a lot of ground, I'd say Aurier did too.

So with that in mind, something like:

    Hugo
    Tanganga, Dave, Toby, Jan
    Gedson, Dier, Tanguy
    Lamela, Son, Sess

Hopefully Parrott can get some solid game time off the bench. Would be great if Davies can get some minutes under his belt as well.

We might rotate a little, come to think of it, though we have 11 days off after this game so time to recover after a busy period. I’d like to see GLC start and make way for Gedson if we’re looking comfortable, which of course we won’t be, because we’re Spurs

In quick succession I’d agree. One offs he’s done okay.
