    Any good documentaries?

I actually prefer Prime to Netflix on the whole but the UI is terrible and really **** to navigate.

I find most of the decent stuff is invisible unless you know what to search for.

Or maybe I'm just a bit stoopid.

Yea they only show you a tiny amount of the stuff on there...They don't seem to have tagged shows properly, so 'Watch next' is usually just the shows they want people to see.

Prime is **** for documentaries compared to Netflix, and usually it's all trashy US style ones. Youtube and iPlayer are best, depends what topic you're after. Ancient Aliens is probably the most scientific documentary on Netflix <laugh>

Get really high and watch Banshee, takes a few episodes to get going but it's a great watch.

  14. I’ve just bought the BBC’s “Dracula” on DVD.

Didn’t watch it on TV, but I’m told it’s good.

Saw it the other day. Fantastically original cinematography and a proper noir feel to it from the word go. Script is great, acting is top drawer (Pattinson was surprisingly good; I haven't seen him in much but when I have he's been ****e. Dafoe is magnificent).

But it definitely isn't for everyone. It's a very slow burner and genuinely unsettling at times. Plus the layered metaphors and confusing as hell symbolism (loads of greek mythology) means I'd recommend going for a drink and a quiet sit down afterwards just to process what the **** just happened. <ok>
