They didn't show the disallowed goal either but I guess they would have had to try and explain on behalf of VAR how the only part of Salah's body that was offside was a part that can't score a goal anyway.
I think it was another armpit job. But we all know VAR favours Liverpool, and if it weren't for that our 22 point lead at the top of the table would evaporate.
The referee was excellent on Saturday giving Southamto penalty he have to give the earlier one to Liverpool.
The meltdown of some oppo fans is hilarious and sad at the same time. Never thought grown men would act like that over Liverpool winning the league. The amount of mental gymnastics and excuses for our stellar performance is one I will archive for future laughs.
I rarely watch motd anymore, the pundits are ****e and the highlights are selective. And that's being generous. Ill usually look for opposition fan channels/cams and various youtube channels to get my analysis after games these days. "The kick off" has some quite good content tbh
The referee was excellent on Saturday, if he had given Southampton a penalty, he would have to give the earlier one to Liverpool .Southampton manager was ranting about penalty not given he never mentioned.
The LFC website uses a thing called time view. It stops play in 'real time' and goes 360° around the stopped play. They've only just started using it. It's very good.
You should have heard 5 Live on Saturday evening. Chris Sutton went full, unbridled 'Liverpool are only where they are because of decisions and VAR' routine; a Soton fan rang in and was treated like an unbiased, scientific observer of the incident (they strangely never asked him what he thought of Long wrestling Bobby to the floor from this unequivocally perfect vantage point in the Anny Rd End), and the one Liverpool fan who dared bring up the Bobby foul was dismissed out of hand because Sutton and Bruce had declared it a fair challenge. For once, thank God Alan Shearer on MoTD was not so one-eyed. And it was interesting back on 5Live as they rattled off incident after incident that favoured Liverpool, they had to be reminded of Bobby's armpit offside, the foul on Origi at OT, and completely ignored the ludicrous VAR intervention on Virgil against Uniturd when they decided he hadn't jumped for the ball, even though a referee standing 15 yards away had decided he had.
Definite penalty for us, definitely not for them and pass back should have been free kick. Happy overall with the refereeing.
Yeh they're very good, theres a few on the twatter thread, i think i posted the Ox goal from the weekends game (360 cam)
I actually prefer watching the oppositions official youtube channels as they put like 10 mins extended highlights. The thing is we are soo dominant that they end up showing more of our chances.
We have a swahili saying here in Kenya... Inauma lakini itabidi uzoee.... direct translation.. it hurts but you'll just have to get used to it. I think they are in grief so in the following order, we can identify where they fall Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance We can see that they are in phase 1 and 2 depending on who you speak to. Give it time.....
Same here, the redmen tv channel is probably one of the more professional fan channels out there, but ill admit i find them a little boring most times
Yeah, you can see they're hurting and trying to find any way they can to claim we don't deserve it. They only make themselves look mean-spirited and childish, though - as any unbiased observer will see from the language.
If you think that's boring you want to have a look at toffee tv some time. An unashamed copy of Redmen tv but with two very depressed looking blues. I just went to have a look to see when it was founded and they've got an Ancelotti song video up there which is a complete rip off of our Balotelli song - Mario magnifico, Mario fantastico About time they stopped having one eye on us and did their own thing.
Neither was I but redmen did a collaboration before the derby and invited them over. Tbf they made some good points but their miserable kippers
