Agreed but I disagree with Best not getting the number 9 shirt.. why? Well if Martins could get it.. why not Best? <whistle>

Martins shouldn't of got it, if Best can stick in the first team and get 15+ goals for more than just one season I'd consider giving him the number nine.

    Just back from the future

All is well. I can show you those results
Man City 0-5 Newcastle (Ben Arfa with four, the last was an own goal from De Jong after Benny smashed the ball off the post, it his de jong in the face and went in)
Man Utd 1-2 Newcastle (rooney scores early on, but the ameobi brothers get one each to topple the red devils)
Newcastle 3-0 Chelsea (Cabaye with a hattrick. Celebrates by getting naked)

My biggest fear is how many members of our squad will be poached if we are in such a position come the transfer window. i HATE the Jan window quite passionately.

I don't care for the January transfer window, it's too disruptive. I also think the summer transfer window should close before the season commences.

You would do what Bolton did and receive a reckless challenge on your best/influential midfielder from a dirty Man Utd player than then get to the FA cup semi final and lose by a horrific scoreline, and then, after beating Arsenal, go on a terrible losing streak before settling for a 12-14th place finish and then saying 'I would of took that at the start'.

Sounds horrible when I say it like that <laugh>

I agree because it ruins any outsiders chances of breaking into the top 6

With you on this. 'The Big Guns' don't seem that threatening anymore. 2-3 seasons ago you just mark them off the calender as 0 points but now you can never be sure. Especially as an NUFC fan.

man city vs fulham last weekend just illustrated how the big three are vunerable if you play well enough
as for man u i think they're good atm coz they're playing with such confidence, but if they lose a few with all the inexperience in their starting xi i could see them suddenly going on a bad run much like arsenal yound players minus confidence =not good

To be honest I can see a tough period coming but the next 2 games are winnable and it gets a good gap between the bottom 3 if we win em. I'm still thinking 10th would be more than realistic.

The blood wouldn't ruin his suit, it would just look pink after it had been cleaned.

£5 million for a new striker.

I have spoken (I say in a Peter Griffin voice)
